The challenge

Anchoring leadership training sustainably in everyday working life

Leadership training was firmly established in the company and of a high quality. Nevertheless, a central challenge became apparent in everyday life: although the participants completed the individual modules, reflection on what they had learned often remained too superficial and the transfer into practice was inconsistent.

Traditional reflection phases within the workshops were not sufficient to initiate sustainable changes in behavior. At the same time, coaches and trainers were unable to provide participants with ongoing individual support between modules. A solution was therefore needed that would continuously support reflection, transfer and personal development - without the need for additional support.

Specifically, the following challenges arose:

  • Limited depth of reflection: Learning content was conveyed but not sufficiently transferred to the participants' own management practice.
  • Low sustainability between modules: Reflection impulses from the seminar were quickly lost in everyday working life.
  • High need for support: Individual feedback from coaches was not permanently scalable.

The solution

An AI reflection partner as part of the blended learning journey

To ensure reflection and transfer between the face-to-face modules, an AI-based reflection partner was integrated into the existing blended learning journey. He accompanies the participants after each module, asks specific reflection questions and responds individually to their answers.

The reflection partner can be used by text or voice and can be flexibly integrated into everyday working life. In addition, participants receive regular reflection impulses by e-mail, which tie in with the respective learning content and encourage further discussion.

The AI was trained with the content of the training and e-learning modules as well as the understanding of leadership in the company, so that it reflects the language and logic of the organization.
