Our AI systems operate based on approved content and, upon request, include source citations. This makes it possible to trace the basis for answers, suggestions, and recommendations.

AI with human oversight

Humans remain in control: They define the goals, content, behavior, limits, and approvals. The AI provides support, but the final decision-making authority remains with humans.

Continuous improvement

Our AI systems are constantly being refined. We use feedback, usage data, and identified gaps to improve content, guidelines, and features in targeted ways.

Processed data

Our AI systems are designed to process content data. Personal data is not required for the intended use and is limited to what is strictly necessary.

Data location

Our AI systems are hosted in Germany. For AI features, we use Microsoft Azure OpenAI Services, with data processing taking place on European servers.

No training of the base models

Inputs, responses, and provided knowledge content are not used to train the underlying language models.

Retention and deletion periods

Data is stored only for as long as is necessary for its intended use. The applicable retention periods are clearly defined.

Access restrictions

Access to our AI systems is controlled by roles and permissions and is restricted to authorized individuals.

AI models

We use powerful language models and services and select them based on the specific use case. Processing generally takes place in Europe.

Information security

Security is built into the development and operation of our AI systems from the very beginning. This includes technical safeguards as well as clear processes and responsibilities.

Encryption

We rely on infrastructure and services that encrypt data during transmission and storage using state-of-the-art technology.
